ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) has been widely discussed in recent years. Although there is no precise statistics in Latvia, it affects about 5-10% of children worldwide—meaning that almost every class has at least one child with ADHD. It is not a disease, but a set of symptoms that often occur alongside other disorders (such as learning or anxiety).

ADHD is still stigmatized, but it is not related to upbringing or screen use. The aim of this book is to help understand the child's experience, as the most important thing is the child themselves, not the diagnosis. Every child needs at least one adult who believes in and supports them.
