Exclusive set of two crystal owls This outstanding set is the work of the famous Swedish designer Mats Jonasson, created at the legendary Målerås glass factory. The sculptures are made from high-quality 28% lead crystal, giving them an incredible shine. Both figures are in excellent vintage condition, with the author's signature on the base and original "Signature Collection" marking. An excellent opportunity to purchase two coordinated artworks in one set.
History and fact: Målerås factory (founded in 1890) is a symbol of Swedish glass art. Mats Jonasson became its owner in the 80s to preserve unique craft traditions. His use of reverse engraving technique makes the image appear dimensional, as if the owl is watching you from inside the crystal.
