Japanese ukiyo-e colorful woodblock print triptych (sanmaitsuzuke), Utagawa Kuniyasu (歌川国安; signature "Kuniyasu ga / 国安画"), Edo period, mid-19th century. Depicts kabuki theater actors/samurai in a dynamic fight scene; inscriptions identifying the characters/actors are visible in the upper corner of each sheet. Preserved with visible folding lines and paper toning/age marks (slight staining in places).

Framed in an elegant black lacquered frame made in Geneva, between two glass panes; overall size approximately 52 × 95 cm (frame).
