The Mothercare Madrid car seat can be installed both rear-facing and forward-facing. It is designed for children from birth when installed rear-facing (0–9 kg) and for children up to 18 kg when installed forward-facing. The car seat is intended for children from birth to approximately 4 years of age. Personally, I would recommend it from 6 months+. The seat has 3 recline positions to ensure comfort in various situations and a 5-point safety harness for maximum protection. The high, padded armrests with side impact protection, soft seat insert, adjustable headrest, and padding on the shoulder straps provide additional comfort and safety. If the child falls asleep during the journey, the seat can be easily reclined for more comfortable rest, and special fasteners allow for adjusting the belt tension. The soft seat cover is fully removable, usable on both sides (both light and dark), and suitable for hand washing.
