Exquisite pre-war trio from the famous English manufactory Aynsley — Wayside decor, 1939.

The delicate botanical composition featuring thistle and wildflowers is executed in decal technique with hand finishing. Fine graphics, a soft palette, and delicate gilding on the edge emphasize the elegance of pre-war English bone china.

The porcelain is thin, translucent, light, yet strong — qualities for which Aynsley is highly valued by collectors.

About the manufacturer:
The Aynsley company was founded in 1775 in Stoke-on-Trent, the center of the English ceramics industry. In the late 19th to the first half of the 20th century, the factory became one of the leading producers of bone china and supplied products to the court.
