Fully functional, washed. It served our child from 6 months, we did not use the infant insert, but I think this is not the most comfortable option for a newborn, but as a second chair - perfect.
The only defect is that over time, sand grains have accumulated inside the mechanism, when you turn it around, you can hear it, and it no longer rotates as it did on the first day, but it still functions! It might be possible to clean it, we haven't tried since it fulfills its function.
