Himavat

The book compiles essays and articles written by Roerich over various years. The original language for many of these works was English, and they were first published as a collection in 1946 in Allahabad, India. Himavat is dedicated to the Himalayan mountains, Eastern culture, spirituality, and ethics. Roerich's writings possess a very poetic and philosophical style, in which he reflects on the unity of human culture and the inspiration provided by the mountains.
