I confirm that the advice given in the book works, as I had gestational diabetes during pregnancy and walked around with a sugar monitoring system for several months. I saw that all supposedly healthy foods without added sugar (such as rice cakes, plain drinking yogurts, etc.) are actually sugar bombs. Only when I started following all the advice from the book was I able to keep my sugar levels within limits - just with diet, without insulin. The baby was born healthy and wonderful. I pass it on to help someone else. I folded a couple of pages back then, so I'm pricing it lower than others.
