This rare Villeroy & Boch Mettlach antique vase, dating from 1874-1909, is a rare and exquisite collector's item that reflects the high craftsmanship and aesthetics of the time. Hand-painted with cupids and birds, gilded details and handles, it features an amphora shape with ornate gilded handles and detailed painting in a neoclassical or rococo style, which was a popular trend of the time. The base depicts cherubs, while the neck features birds among floral garlands. The colors are soft and muted, with added gold accents.
