Great as spare boots and will go like tanks for another season or two. The sole protector is gradually "opening up," but it won't interfere with wearing. The inner sole does not have worn squares, which is characteristic of this Reima model. I cleaned the pink part with microfiber as best as I could. Comfortable, easy to take off, guaranteed dry feet, suitable for wider feet as well. The inner sole is not removable, but the Reima website states that size 28 is suitable for a foot length of 17-17.2 cm.
