Fresh water for flowers

Violeta Tusēna is a cemetery caretaker. Mourning relatives, regular visitors, and colleagues stop by her cabin to find comfort and warmth, and as they drink coffee and converse, tears mingle with laughter. The usual routine is disrupted by the arrival of the police commissioner. He wants to scatter his mother's ashes on a completely stranger's grave. It becomes clear that his inexplicable desire is somehow connected to the cemetery caretaker's complicated past.
