This model was released in 2001 as a simple, budget-friendly "point-and-shoot" camera.
Image Quality: The 1.3-megapixel sensor is low by today's standards, but it produces a characteristic, grainy, and nostalgic image that cannot be fully replicated with phone filters.
Lens: Fixed focal length (no optical zoom). This means the camera is slower and more suited for static shots.
Design: Classic sliding cover that also serves as the power switch. It is very lightweight and compact.
Pros: Very easy to use; uses standard AA batteries.
Cons: No optical zoom; SmartMedia memory cards are currently expensive and hard to find.
