Ceres is a long women's parka designed for maximum warmth and comfort, thanks to a specially designed lining construction. Ideally suited for outdoor activities – the straight cut shape provides a modern and neat appearance. The parka is water and windproof with taped seams and made from breathable material, making it suitable for various weather conditions.

The jacket features a two-way front zipper and adjustable hood with removable faux fur for extra protection. Practical pockets – chest pocket, inner mesh pocket, and side pockets with zippers – offer plenty of space. Elastic cuffs with thumb openings and adjustable waist provide an ideal fit. Waterproof zippers and reflective details improve visibility.

WASHING

Can clothes be dried in a drying cabinet?

When using a “drying cabinet,” the heat should not exceed the recommended washing temperature, for example, if the indicated washing temperature is 40°C, then this applies to drying as well.

How should a Didriksons jacket be washed?

Inside the garment, there is a label with simple care instructions.

Before washing

Close all buttons, zippers, buckles, and Velcro. This is necessary to prevent wear on both these details and the rest of the garment. Wash the garment turned inside out to reduce wear on the material's PU coating. Carefully read the garment's care instructions.

During washing

Use a mild laundry detergent as it is gentler and less affects the garment's waterproofness. Do not use fabric softener as it can adversely affect the garment's waterproofness and contribute to the eutrophication of our lakes. Use the washing program and temperature recommended in the care instructions. When hand washing, never leave the garment soaking.

After washing

Remove the washed garment from the washing machine as soon as the program ends. Do not dry it in a tumble dryer as it causes unnecessary wear on the material. We do not recommend drying clothes in drying cabinets, as the temperature in them is often too high. Drying in a cabinet is possible, but the temperature must not exceed the recommended washing temperature. In other words, if the label suggests washing at 40°C, then the drying temperature in the cabinet should be lower than 40°C.

For the environment and your clothes' preservation, do not wash clothes unnecessarily.

How should Galon® products be washed?

Galon® is a completely wind and waterproof material, and it does not require impregnation or further care to maintain waterproofness. If your Galon® garment becomes dirty, simply wipe it. However, if you want to wash it, choose a 40°C program. Remember that Galon® can be damaged if the garment is exposed to heat, so do not dry it in a drying cabinet or tumble dryer.

Tip: if the raincoat is wet, turn it inside out to dry faster.

When should a Didriksons jacket be re-impregnated?

Most of our outerwear has a dirt and water-repellent surface finish that does not contain PFC (perfluorocarbons). Frequent wearing or wear can reduce resistance to dirt and water. Clean clothes retain functionality longer than dirty ones, so wash them when they get dirty, as stain removal or wiping is not enough. To reactivate waterproofness, after washing, expose the garment to heat (light ironing, a few minutes of drying in a tumble dryer or drying cabinet) according to washing instructions. After repeated washing or prolonged wear, waterproofing may need to be restored; in this case, use PFC-free impregnation products available in sports stores.

Can clothes be dried in a tumble dryer?

We are convinced that drying in a tumble dryer should be avoided as it causes unnecessary wear on the material and the garment.

Why shouldn't fabric softener be used?

Fabric softener should not be used on our impregnated garments as it can adversely affect the garment's waterproofness. Using fabric softener can also contribute to the eutrophication of our lakes.
