RECARO Young Sport Group 1/2/3 is a long-lasting seat that grows with your child from 9 months to 12 years of age. The seat is technologically advanced, with ergonomic ribbed foam designed for the automotive industry, providing complete comfort and air circulation. It includes a height-adjustable safety harness with an energy absorber, central belt adjuster, patented tensioners, and a practical carrying handle. The simple installation guide shows how to easily fit the seat into the car using the vehicle's three-point safety belt. Young Sport serves as one seat for children from approximately 9 months to 12 years (9–36 kg), meaning the seat can be used for an exceptionally long time. Young Sport is a carefully designed system that includes an integrated five-point safety harness, a three-way adjustable headrest for ECE Group 1 (9–18 kg), a three-point car safety belt, and a two-way adjustable headrest for ECE Groups 2 and 3 (15–36 kg). The set is easy to install in the car, and the car safety belt can even be tightened with a fastened buckle. Due to the ergonomic ribbed foam, the seat is extremely comfortable with good air circulation. Young Sport grows with your child and has enhanced side impact protection (ASP) in the head, side, and hip areas throughout the seat's lifespan; this means your child is protected from side impacts with side head and torso wings. The high seat base with armrests also protects the hip area, and in case of impact, the five-point safety harness protects the child from excessive movements and allows force distribution. The simple installation guides show how to install the seat with the vehicle's safety belt in both Group 1 and Group 2/3. The safety belt is easily attached to the car and tensioned through the car seat belt clamp. In Group 1 (9–18 kg), Young Sport has an insert for a smaller, younger child that can be easily removed as the child grows. The integrated five-point safety harness and headrest can be adjusted three times using the convenient belt adjuster at the back of the seat. In Group 2/3 (15–36 kg), the Young Sport integrated safety harness is removed, and the seat along with the child is secured in the car with the vehicle's safety belt. The headrest can be adjusted two more times for a growing child. The practical carrying handle at the top of the seat is designed for easy transport. High-quality, deeply padded, fully breathable seat covers provide luxurious comfort and are machine washable at 30°C.
