💫 Pēc Oktobra revolūcijas (1917) fabrika tika nacionalizēta. Padomju laikā Gorodņicas rūpnīca kļuva par vienu no lielākajām porcelāna ražotnēm Ukrainas PSR un visā PSRS, ražojot gan galda traukus, gan mazo porcelāna plastiku (figūriņas). Tā cieši sadarbojās ar Ļeņingradas Porcelāna un fajansa institūtu.
💫 Pēc Ukrainas neatkarības atgūšanas (1991) uzņēmums tika pārveidots par darbinieku īpašumu. Tomēr konkurence no lētās importa produkcijas, īpaši pēc Ukrainas iestāšanās Pasaules Tirdzniecības organizācijā (2008), izrādījās pārāk liela.
💫 Ražošana tika pārtraukta 2008. gadā, un 2012. gadā tika pabeigta bankrota procedūra.

Large mug from the Ukrainian Horodnytsia porcelain factory - ideal for tea lovers made from real porcelain.
💫 The factory was founded in 1799 in Horodnytsia (Horodnica), Volyn (later Zhytomyr) region, on the estates of Polish Prince Józef Czartoryski. Initially, it specialized in the production of faience in the English style.
💫 The factory changed owners, including the Lubomirski and Rulikowski families. In the 19th century, it became famous for high-quality tableware.
💫 After a fire in 1880, the factory was
restored and rented by A.F. Sussman.
💫 After the October Revolution (1917), the factory was nationalized. During Soviet times, the Horodnytsia factory became one of the largest porcelain producers in the Ukrainian SSR and throughout the USSR, producing both tableware and small porcelain plastics (figurines). It closely collaborated with the Leningrad Porcelain and Faience Institute.
💫 After Ukraine regained independence (1991), the company was transformed into employee ownership. However, the competition from cheap imported products, especially after Ukraine's accession to the World Trade Organization (2008), proved too strong.
💫 Production was halted in 2008, and bankruptcy proceedings were completed in 2012.
