Historical note about the factory
At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the Polonsk Artistic Ceramics Factory became an important center of artistic ceramics in the region. During Soviet times, the factory became known for its sculptural figures — rural motifs, ethnographic compositions, and expressive plastics. The "Girl with a Yoke" was created in this tradition — a figure with baskets containing mushrooms on both sides of the yoke, which gives it additional thematic completeness and collector interest.
