Jadviga Žilvinska (1918-2010). The artist had four favorite themes: landscapes, portraits, flowers, and sacred painting. The works possess lyricism and inner harmony. In the portraits, we notice not only the external appearance of the person, but the artist allows us to glimpse into the very essence of the person – it is believed that the models themselves often saw something new and bright in themselves through the artist's vision.
