Izmēri: garums 25,5 cm, platums 13,5 cm, augstums 4 cm.

Antique porcelain serving dish with tomatoes
In front of us is a rare example of decorative porcelain from the early 20th century, created by the J.K. Jessen Riga porcelain factory. This serving dish is crafted in an elegant shape with side handles and a thin gold rim, which, despite its century-long history, has retained almost untouched brilliance.
Special attention is drawn to the picturesque drawing – tomatoes depicted in the characteristic manner of the time: bright, saturated, juicy, as if freshly picked from the
garden. The realism of the colors is striking: the warm orange-red hues and the gentle green leaf tones still maintain freshness and intensity, demonstrating the mastery of Riga porcelain artists and the high production quality of the early 20th century.
The dish appears not only as a utilitarian serving item but also as an expressive art object. Even after a hundred years, it retains the harmony of form and the beauty of the painting, making it a worthy exhibit in both an antique collection and the interior of a decorative art enthusiast.
The condition of the item is good: the surface is flawless and without scratches, the gold has remained surprisingly well. The only defect is a small chip on the handle from the backside, which occurred later and does not diminish the overall aesthetic impression.
Dimensions: length 25.5 cm, width 13.5 cm, height 4 cm.
