"Book of Crossbows"

This book is a Russian translation of Sir Ralph Payne-Gallwey's (1848–1916) classic work "The Book of the Crossbow" (originally published in 1903). The book provides a detailed account of the history, construction, and use of crossbows and related weapons (such as early bows and siege engines) in warfare and hunting. It is very popular for containing numerous illustrations, drawings, and historical images.
