Antique Woods Ware bowl/serving dish with lid. Part of the Woods of England 'Alva' range, which was discontinued in 1917. A beautiful serving dish in excellent condition, especially considering that the item is over 100 years old. (See photos) Dimensions are 11 inches from handle to handle (28 cm) in diameter. The ornate scenes, rendered in blue on a white background, were a modern version of the popular Chinese willow pattern of the early 1900s.
