Very good overall for the mid-season. Cotton inside the torso area. We even wore it in slight minus temperatures, and the child can walk comfortably.
DEFECT - a stain inside near the neck from puree, it didn't wash out, but I also didn't try scrubbing or using a stain remover. + shipping!!!
