Key features • Video recording: The V1 records 1080p full HD video at 30 frames per second using a Sony Exmor video sensor. It also features Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, which helps balance exposure for clear footage in various lighting conditions, including at night.
• Design and display: It has a discreet black exterior and a 2.4-inch LCD screen for live view and playback. The lens offers a 170° super-wide angle to capture a broad view of the road.
• Storage and power: It records video onto a microSD card (up to 256GB is supported on later "Basic" versions, but not included). The camera is powered by a supercapacitor, which is more resistant to extreme temperatures than standard batteries and improves the camera's reliability.

Automatic features: • Loop Recording: When the memory card is full, the V1 automatically overwrites the oldest, unprotected video segments.
• G-Sensor: An integrated gravity sensor detects sudden movement or collisions and automatically locks the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten.
• Parking Monitor: This feature can be enabled to automatically record when the camera detects a vibration while the vehicle is parked. A hardwire kit is required for continuous power to use this feature.
