Erling Valldeby sculptural table lamp, 1940s-50s.

Erling Valldeby was a Norwegian and Swedish sculptor, educated at Valand Art School in Paris. His main goal was to create sculptures and reliefs with mythological or Biblical themes, as well as small garden sculptures made of wood and stone. His works can be found in several Swedish churches.

Base material: stone with a bronze socket. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition. Approximately 1940s-50s.

Lampshade: yellow-brown natural beige "Plisse" lampshade, produced in Sweden around the 1960s. Signs of aging, use, and wear. Good vintage condition.
