It's not down, but I myself was skeptical about non-down jackets, surprised at how warm this one actually is. For size M, I would say it's rather large, so it's better suited for size L. In the picture, I am 180cm tall, to make it easier to understand. The RAINS brand is known for its excellent water-resistant material. For Latvian weather conditions, this serves excellently. Warm felt fabric in the pocket. Length 100cm
