Basket / carrycot / nest with a solid base for carrying. There is a stain on one side of the mattress. I haven't tried cleaning it. It was a great help for us to carry the baby around the house in the first months, to the bathroom, etc. It also served as a good barrier from the older child, providing a safer environment for the baby.
