Watercolor by the old master Konrāds Ubāns (1893-1981).
Size without frame 51x40 cm.
K. Ubāns' teachers were V. Purvītis, J. Rozentāls, and J. R. Tillbergs. The artist's contemporaries were Jāzeps Grosvalds, Valdemārs Tone, and Romāns Suta.
As a landscape painter, Ubāns holds the first place in Latvian painting after the academician V. Purvītis.
