Автор гравюры Карло Лазинио (1759-1838) был одним из первых итальянских цветных печатников, его серия знаменитых автопортретов художников является заметным достижением, а изображения очень редки, сохранился только один экземпляр его книги (в Национальной галерее, Вашингтон, округ Колумбия), и он неполный.

Painting | Engraving | Size 93cm by 60cm including the frame (wooden). It depicts a bust portrait of the artist Filippo de Angelis, known as Napolitano (1589–1629), in profile on the left. The artist, portrayed as a young man, is dressed in early 17th-century fashion, with a jabot-style collar. Below is a separately affixed line of text with the model's name on a rolled scroll. Sheet 119 from one of the volumes of the "Museo Fiorentino" edition, which includes, among other things, engravings with self-portraits of artists from the collection of the Grand Dukes of Florence. The volumes with portraits were first published between 1752 and 1762. The portraits were likely also sold as individual prints. Portraits from this work, created in modern collage technique, as noticeable on the offered sheet, are often found and may have already been edited by the publisher, which increases their value.

The author of the engraving, Carlo Lasinio (1759-1838), was one of the first Italian color printers, and his series of famous artists' self-portraits is a notable achievement, with the images being very rare; only one copy of his book survives (in the National Gallery, Washington, D.C.), and it is incomplete.
