Painting and drawings by M.Yu. Lermontov are presented for the first time in the format of a high-quality album, utilizing all the possibilities of modern printing. The book includes an analysis of M.Yu. Lermontov's artistic creativity by early 20th-century art historian Baron N.N. Wrangel, as well as an analysis by another renowned art historian, B.S. Mosolov. A separate section of the publication consists of the poet's illustrations for his own works.
