Baiba Gercāne ir strādājusi visdažādākajās jomās, patlaban dzīvo un strādā Norvēģijā, kur apguvusi dzīves spējraiša (kouča) profesiju, ir geštalta terapeits apmācībā.
Abas satikušās vienā no darbavietām 20. gadsimta 90. gadu vidū un joprojām draudzējas, neraugoties uz to, ka dzīvoja vispirms dažādās pilsētās, bet tagad jau arī dažādās valstīs.

Marika Bērtule has obtained a doctorate in clinical psychology and a certificate in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy (CBT). She works as a clinical psychologist and CBT psychotherapist with adults and also conducts lectures.
Baiba Gercāne has worked in various fields and currently lives and works in Norway, where she has learned the profession of a life coach and is a gestalt therapist in training.
Both met at one of their workplaces in the mid-1990s and still maintain their friendship despite living first in different cities and now in different countries.
